Start of rampant raving blog
Wasting time is not a habit I will like but here I am keying away furiously at my pda in MOS burger before my lessons. 4 freaking long hours of lessons later. And I think the worst part is not being able to know if these 4 hours will actually help those people.
From what I have gathered, not all of them are in for the lessons because they really need it. They are in this because their parents want them to be. And one interesting female said it's something like the gym membership. You pay so that you are forced to be engaged in learning although you always can study alone. Wonderful thought from a 13 year old.
Well, bottomline, I don't care at all. Haha. They are entitled to their opinions. I am here for the money and the fact that I love to see the grimaces in their faces when they have to think really hard.
COMPLAINTS
Sometimes it is so hard to be a nice guy. I thought I was doing my job getting them to really understand through questioning. I need to get them to be involved and more positive BUT they just only want spoon feeding.
For all I know, they can actually spend less engaging a speaking computer encyclopedia programme!
No... They just love to complain when they found out that you missed a point when you gave them additional points beyond the text. They just love to complain because you used proper English instead of Singlish. They also love to complain that you did not write every word you speak on the board and eventually not reading what you have written on the board.
These are those who unconsciously know that you are stripped of authority and dignity once you enter this line.
By the Gods, I will love to see them in my class in school. On second thought, let's not. I don't want students like them.
