Doing it for Your Sake Vs for Others' sake??

Parents... Teachers... They are categorised by some students as 'naggers'. "Do this, Do that, You must.. " That would be their favourite phrase of the day and it is literally everyday. Worse, you let their expectations become the driving force unto yours... till you do not know if you are doing for yourself or because of the pressure...

So qn: are you really doing it for your good? Note that I do not say 'for yourself', but 'for your good'.

For yourself, it will be following your heart. For your good, it will be that you know whether you should do your best so that you won't regret it even 10 years down the road.

So qn: If what you are doing now is really really OK with you, do you need to be affected by others' expectations and opinions?

Be truthful to yourself. You can lie all you want, just don't lie to yourself. If you are not happy, you are not. If you are happy, you do not even need to ask yourself.
