HAPPY TEACHERS' DAYZzZz!!!

1st September!! Teachers' Day!! I would have thought I could spend it in that particular school and it would be the first time I would be celebrating Teacher's Day as a teacher!
Fat Hope! Haha. I had to go to school to slog through the lessons with the other student teachers as well. Quite a few of them were invited to their school's teachers' dinner last night, though.
Yet so, even if I do not really get to enjoy the holiday since there was none for me, I was still as happy as a lark. One of the students still remembered my number and took the trouble to call in to wish a happy teachers' day, even though I had only relieved their class for two days.
Saying so, I recalled just 2 days ago, I met my previous secondary PE teacher who is now a lecturer. It had been at least 13 years, yet he still remembered my face! Inspite of myself, I found myself bowing my head, even though I am a student teacher now. Old virtues like courtesy taught in primary and secondary still died hard. I was really happy to see him, as he was too seeing me.
I guess Teachers cannot always be around for the students, but what matter most is whether we have given them good memories and teachings (be it academic or values). Teachers are humans too, as we also feel an upsurge in spirit and morale as long as one student keep us in their hearts.
Cheerz!!
